Pre-production, production, and post-production of the project "Basic Principles of Non-Violent Civic Resistance," a project aimed at instructing activists on how to confront oppressive regimes to demand rights using only Non-Violent Resistance. This course delves into the benefits of using this protest tactic related to civil disobedience, advocating for achieving political, social, and cultural change without the need for violence as a political weapon.
The course will detail the different types of non-violent actions, discussing the pros and cons of their implementation and the changes that should be made to implement them in a scenario like Cuba's, with a dictatorship of more than 6 decades and a people subjected to terror.
The classes are based on the book by former American colonel Robert Helvey: "On Strategic Nonviolent Conflict: Thinking About the Fundamentals" Co-production with  "Center for a FREE Cuba". March 2024.
